my new Sequoia got a check engine light. codes are P2C90 and P2C91 (Crankcase Ventilation hose A and B). its got 2,200 miles. i put in a cold air intake and BOV at 400 miles, no problems until now. anyone else get these codes? i've got a dealership visit thursday to program a second key and mentioned the light. they want $200 an hour for diagnostics. should I take off the cold air intake?

Hmm, I don't have any idea about this ventilation thing. But there is NO WAY you should pay 200 USD for a mechanic per hour? That's too much. You can buy a brand new car for 24 hours lol. You're not paying for a lawyer, it's a diagnostics for Pete's sake!

That's rough timing, man, the dealer might try to pin it on the mods because of intake and bod even if they're not directly related. Personally, I'd throw the stock intake back on before the visit, just keeps the conversation simpler. Hopefully it's something minor like a loose hose or sensor hiccup. and ... @nonononoway , I see what you did there with your name and the reply
