My neighbor bought a 2024 Sequoia and got 18000 miles on it.
He changed the differential fluid with RAVENOL MTF-3 SAE 75W and only changed the read diff.
it's surprising that when he opened it, there was dust on the magnet, a lot of them are mud, but some are very thin metal pieces. The dirty oil looks like a metal flow.
I wonder if it is normal to be so dirty. I mean, it's not even 20K miles yet.

If the vehicle has been used for towing or off road , driving dirty differential oil at 18k miles can happen. Did your neighbor inspect the seals or check for water contamination? That could explain the mud like residue.
